Take your clay hand-building skills to the next level in this 6-week hand-building course designed for students who have completed Level 1 or have some prior clay experience. Guided by ceramic artist Pauline Halsey (@phalsii on Instagram), you’ll refine your techniques and work on more advanced functional projects.

This course's featured project will be crafting a teapot with matching teacups, a rewarding challenge that brings together form, function, and creativity. Depending on the pace of the group, you’ll also have time to explore additional projects that let you expand your style and confidence in clay.

With small class sizes, you’ll receive personalized guidance while building skills that push your hand-building practice further. By the end of the course, you’ll not only have beautiful, functional pieces to take home, but also a deeper understanding of hand-buidling ceramic form and design.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Student Attendance:

Please review your calendar and confirm your availability (and that of any co-attendees) before finalizing your booking.

Attendance for the full class term is the responsibility of the student.

No refunds or credits will be issued for missed classes, and additional makeup classes will not be scheduled.

Cancellation Policy

The Kiln Room Ceramic & Art Studio reserves the right to cancel classes before they begin. We will provide as much notice as possible if cancellation is necessary.

A full refund will be issued if a class/workshop is cancelled by The Kiln Room

Refund Policy:

If you cancel at least 14 days before the class or event, a full refund (minus a $10 processing fee) is available.

No refunds will be issued if you cancel within 13 days of the class or event. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you cannot attend the workshop or series of lessons you signed up for and have someone who can replace you, transfers to other attendees are permitted under certain circumstances.

Gift Certificates:

If you paid for your class with a Gift Certificate, please bring it with you on the day of the event if its a physical card.

If you need to cancel or transfer your spot, the Gift Certificate may be applied to a future booking, in accordance with the same cancellation and transfer policies outlined above.
